Karla J. Letsche

Karla J. Letsche is a partner in the firm, with over 30 years of experience in administrative and civil litigation, regulatory compliance counseling, and government contracts matters. Ms. Letsche provides counsel and advice on a broad range of compliance issues, such as consumer product safety (including U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reporting obligations and product recalls), privacy and credit reporting, and procurement-related matters. She represents clients in investigations and enforcement proceedings before government agencies, such as the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Federal Trade Commission, the Small Business Administration, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Her litigation experience includes trial and appellate work in federal and state courts throughout the country on cases involving commercial disputes, product liability claims, and regulatory issues, as well as in administrative proceedings before numerous federal agencies, bid protests in the Court of Federal Claims and before the Government Accountability Office, and commercial arbitrations and mediations.
Ms. Letsche co-Chairs the Committee on Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Data Protection of the American Bar Association's Section of Public Contract Law. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Legal Counsel for the Elderly in Washington, D.C., and she is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
